It's been a successful (and fast-passing) twelve weeks! But it's time to re-test our designated Benchmark WOD's.

This upcoming week will offer an array of fitness tests, testing your athletic abilities across broad time and modal domains (i,e: what this CrossFit stuff is all about!) There will be long workouts, short workouts, heavy ones, and bodyweight ones. If there is an area of fitness to be tested, we will make it a point to cover it.

Benchmark week is not a time to worry or feel anxious; we hope you look forward to each workout as a chance to express the hard work you've been putting in at the gym day in and day out. It's a time to bond through suffering, (we have to have a couple of screws loose to enjoy this fitness stuff, ya know?) and whole-heartedly know you put in a solid day's effort. Even if you never tested these workouts initially 12 weeks ago-- worry not. They will undoubtedly reappear in the future at some point. So make it a point to jot down times and weights for reference.

After all, how do you REALLY know you're in better shape without ever having the data to back it up?!

We are excited for the many PR's that are about to happen, and know you are too.
