Let me just start out by saying how proud I am of everyone thus far with the strength cycle. You guys are making exponential progress weekly by setting new "rep" PR's.
That being said, I want to do some further testing regarding your metabolic conditioning progress...
(yes, the sweaty higher-intensity stuff we do at the end of class)
So this upcoming week is going to be a little different. We are going to take a short break from the regularly programmed lifts so that we can better focus on ramping you up for a some "benchmark" workouts. The workouts chosen will test a variety of energy systems and muscle groups to ensure a well-rounded program.
In about 8 weeks or so, we will RE-test these exact same workouts to track your improvements.
SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WRITE YOUR TIMES/SCORES DOWN! As we WILL be re-testing!
