Hello friends! For the first 19 years of my life, I was searching for an outlet. My prior athletic background was virtually non-existent before I found my role as a fitness athlete and coach. In high school, I was more into the theatre stage than into team sports. My freshmen year of college I started training at home with my husband, John, but I was highly skeptical that it would be anything I would enjoy, let alone become something I would be passionate about. It wasn't long before working out became less about aesthetics, and more about pushing past my own physical and mental limits. Little did I know that fitness would become my zeal or lead to the pursuit of coaching others. Soon I knew that CrossFit was not only for the elite and extraordinary, but could also cater to regular people like me. Today, I look at exercise as not only a means of becoming healthier & stronger, but as a way of strengthening my mind, serving my community, and helping others find that very same confidence as well.

I have always been an active person my entire life, I truly enjoy physical activities and challenging my abilities. I played football from recreation into my freshman year of high school. That's where I first experienced real strength and conditioning, and I excelled in it. I loved the idea of being able to increase my abilities. In my quest for further understanding of human movement, I realized I have a good eye for spotting and correcting poor movement, by working with friends. I feel compelled to teach proper movement, so opening my own facility was an easy choice to make

Growing up, I've quit every extracurricular activity I've been a part of. Sports and being active were not for me. Pushing myself was outside of my comfort zone. The day my sister opened the doors of her business was the same day my lifestyle changed. Not only have I become a better and healthier version of myself, I've developed some of the best friendships that have helped me through some difficult times in my life. My friends and coaches have pushed me to great lengths. Throughout the years I've grown in many ways, but I've also had the pleasure of watching so many others grow as well. Now, as a coach, I hope to push people and help them in the same way mine have helped me.

Growing up I was always involved in some kind of athletic activity, from basketball and volleyball to any other outdoor physical activity I could be involved in, I was all in. When I was introduced to CrossFit I was hooked immediately. I enjoyed how dynamic it was and how it challenged me as an individual. I also loved the community that it created and the team atmosphere. As a coach I am passionate about helping equip others to grow, whether that is through instruction of technique or words of encouragement, I'm passionate about instilling belief into others that they can achieve their goals.
